Painting for an imaginative world - Ilfra Carlick

Ilfra’s formal training in art began at the Birkenhead Institute of Art. Further study in Winchester with Kevin Rayner inspired her to develop a highly individual style. As an accomplished musician too, with a BMus degree from London University, she has combined the spontaneity of performing in sound with an ability to create abstract paintings each telling a different story. All her paintings are an invitation to look and imagine. The inquisitive viewer will always find new aspects of her paintings to enjoy.

She has exhibited in Hampshire and London. Her paintings are in private collections in Canada, USA, France, Spain, Germany and Cyprus. This brochure is a selection of the 25 works in this exhibition. They can also be seen, and are for sale from her web site, www.ilfracarlick.com, along with much of her other work. Ilfra welcomes visitors by appointment to her studio in Winchester.
