A unique and inspiring opportunity to meet and learn from four of the greatest young creative talents born and bred in Winchester.

Sign up for one or more workshops for the chance to develop skills and learn more about working in the competitive world of fashion, dance, choreography, and acting/puppeteering. Our workshop leaders are all incredible artistic industry powerhouses who started out as young people in Winchester, before their own drive, ambition and talent enabled them to take the world by storm.

Each workshop is one hour with a 30 minute Q&A.

WORKSHOP LEADERS

Aimee Croysdill is a London-based stylist. Her roots in fashion can be traced back to her great-grandfather, who was the first womenswear tailor on Savile Row. Today, Croysdill carries on her family's sartorial legacy by working with notable celebrities including Nicola Coughlan, Kelly MacDonald, Laura Haddock, Sally Hawkins, Charlotte Riley, Josephine de la Baume, and many more. Known for her timeless aesthetic, many of her clients regularly top the ‘best dressed’ lists on Vogue, Marie Claire, InStyle, and many more.

Rianna Ash joined the Winchester based award-winning ENCORE Youth Theatre aged 14. She then trained at Birmingham School of Acting (BA Acting) and became a member of the National Youth Theatre before securing her first professional acting job touring Vienna in A Family Affair. Rianna then found that she had a natural flair for puppeteering joining the international tour of War Horse (National Theatre) as the head of Joey. Subsequently, she has worked on The Magicians Elephant (RSC), Hamlet (National Theatre), The Bear (Pins and Needles Productions) and is fresh from her West End debut in Spitting Image the Musical at the Phoenix Theatre.

Cathy Waller is an award winning Choreographer and Movement Director, working for over a decade in contemporary dance and theatre. After training at LABAN, Cathy went on to choreograph for multiple organisations (BBC, Tate Modern, Wembley Arena, BreakinConvention, Barbican) before founding Cathy Waller Company in 2012. With her company, Cathy has choreographed and directed contemporary dance works that have toured nationally on stages such as Sadler’s Wells, West End Live, National Theatre whilst as a Movement Director for theatre and film, she has a list of notable credits including Missing Julie (Theatre Clwyd, Kaite O’Reilly), Animal (Park Theatre, Hope Mill) The Solid Life of Sugar Water (Graeae, Theatre Royal Plymouth, National Theatre). Cathy became disabled in late 2012, and works actively to improve and advocate for disabled artists and audiences, for a more accessible participation and enjoyment for everything within the Arts and Culture sector.

Rhys Shone is a former ENCORE Youth Theatre member and trained at The Hammond and Tring Park.

Upon graduating, Rhys played the role of Pepper in the inaugural cast of Mamma Mia! on Royal Caribbean.

He has most recently been performing in the world tour company of Stomp, having previously performed the show in the West End and is currently part of Derren Brown’s ‘Unbelievable’ cast.
